The Infinix Zero Flip, the company’s first clamshell phone, is ready to debut in India on October 17. Ahead of the launch, the company revealed major key features via its microsite, including display, design, battery, camera, and more. Now, as the launch date inches closer, the Infinix Zero Flip price has also been tipped. A leakster @stufflistings took to X that the Infinix Zero Flip will be priced less than Rs 50,000 in India, making it the cheapest clamshell smartphone in India.
If the speculated price of the Infinix Zero Flip holds to be true, then the pricing seems appropriate as a marketing strategy. Considering that the upcoming phone will compete with the Motorola Razr 50 and the Tecno Phantom V Flip phones, the low price segment will help attract attention. Along with an affordable price tag for a flip phone, the Infinix Zero Flip may be available to purchase at no cost EMI once it officially debuts in India.
This launch marks a significant step for the brand, as the Zero Flip will be among the limited number of budget flip phones available in the Indian market.
A microsite by the company has confirmed a few key specs coming to the Inifinix Zero Flip. It features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ AMOLED main display alongside a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover screen, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, and is equipped with up to 16GB of RAM, which includes virtual RAM. The device also supports up to 512GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and files.
The foldable packs a 4,720mAh battery with 70W fast charging support and 10W wired reverse charging support.
For optics, the Infinix Zero Flip comes with a dual-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it boasts a 50-megapixel front camera on the inner display, offering impressive photography capabilities. The Infinix Zero Flip’s front and rear cameras support 4K video recording for high-quality footage. It also features an AI Vlog Mode, offering step-by-step guidance to help users turn raw videos into polished vlogs, making it an appealing choice for content creators looking to enhance their video creation process.
The Infinix Zero Flip smartphone boasts seamless integration with GoPro cameras, offering a dedicated mode for adjusting settings and viewing footage directly on the phone. Action camera enthusiasts will appreciate the enhanced versatility. Additionally, the phone’s cover screen features a Dynamic MultiView Display, allowing users to personalise their experience with customisable 3D animated pets and shortcuts to popular apps like YouTube and WhatsApp.
